    When away from home it can be a challenge to clean around the stoma

    In situations where access to tap water and/or proper cleaning facilities are limited it can be a challenge to clean properly around the stoma.

    La toallita que limpia y cuida su piel.
    Las toallitas limpiadoras Brava® son la forma más cómoda de limpiar la piel y cuidarla en un solo paso al cambiar el dispositivo de ostomía y continencia.
    Limpia: Las toallitas limpiadoras Brava® están especialmente diseñadas para utilizarse con dispositivos deostomía y continencia. Es una manera sencilla delimpiar la piel de efluente u orina y prepararla para la aplicación del disco. Al no contener aceites como las toallitas tradicionales, no comprometen la fijación del disco.
    Cuida: cada toallita contiene provitamina B5. Esto ayuda a mantener una piel sana, reducir las rojeces y calmar la piel irritada.

    IMPORTANT! If you have any concerns – such as skin problems or how to use new products – you should always consult your stoma care nurse.

    • The skin must be completely clean and dry in order to obtain optimal adhesion. Make sure you use a soft material to dap the moist away. If a hair dryer is available to you, this can also be used to dry the area around the stoma. Use it from a suitable distance and not too warm air. 
    • It can be a challenge to keep the skin dry during application if output is continuously coming out of the stoma. It might help to wrap a little gauze around the stoma while changing to absorb output.
